CULINARY DIRECTOR
We are looking for an experienced chef and kitchen manager to join our management team as the leader of our commissary and kitchen programs. This position manages and operates the day to day functions of our commissary team, preparing and distributing all REVO scratch made product to our cafes and kitchens. This role also oversees the kitchens in both of our two cafes, keeping daily service operating at our standards. We are seeking someone incredibly organized, and able to manage several team members and locations simultaneously. This individual is passionate about team development both in culinary skills and excellent customer service. The culinary director oversees quality control for all staple product, as well as develops menus based on REVO’s seasonal calendars, launching new food items every 3 months.
THE JOB
Lead and manage kitchens at both cafe locations, including hiring, training, scheduling, creating service and dish parameters, and overseeing kitchen operations
Lead and manage commissary kitchen at Oceanside location, including hiring, training, scheduling, oversight of production recipes, and leading the execution of daily production
Oversees kitchen inventory and ordering, ensuring all aspects of the commissary are stocked and ready for production and service at all times
Supporting management team in handling call-outs and emergencies, facilities upkeep, equipment maintenance, and other operational needs as they arise
Research and development for menus and recipes for the kitchen and beverage programs
Managing food costing, reporting, and data analysis
Working closely with other REVO departments like cafe, pastry, and roasting teams to ensure cafe service and product is held to Revo standards at all times

QUALITIES
This role requires someone who is exceptional at developing and upholding standards amongst a team of peers. Our management sets a high bar and supports staff as much as needed for our team to meet and exceed it. Being able to correct and teach with poise is essential.
We’re looking for someone detail oriented with a brain wired to organize, upkeep, and keep things tight. You will be responsible for leading the team that receives and fulfills orders that make sure product is always fresh and fully stocked at both of our cafes.

QUALIFICATION S
5+ years culinary experience
2+ years food and beverage management experience
Creative, organized, and team-minded
Preferred experience in distribution, commissary operations, + food production
Availability to work consistent early mornings, weekends, + holidays
